Karan SWE II @ Microsoft
"Hi Bhaiya, I want to know more about remote opportunities as I'm need of it. Can you please guide?"
Here are the steps for you based on your current experience profile:
- Spend some more time in Microsoft, at least cover 1 year (will help in establishing your deep knowledge across a domain).
- Ask for work that you can show in your resume, at least 1 big project.
- DSA medium questions I assume you can clear easily (but don’t ever stop practising).
- Go to Wellfound and filter jobs based on your stack you're comfortable with, companies based out of the US but hiring for Indian time zone.
- Before the interview, check previous questions and interview structure for the respective company.

"How do I actually use LeetCode effectively? I solve questions but forget the approach later."
Let's discuss how to use Leetcode Effectively
STEP 1 : go to leetcode .com (obviously)
STEP 2 : go to the problem section
STEP 3 : filter problems based on the topic you want to learn.
STEP 4 : sort it Based on acceptance and difficulty.
STEP 5 : open the question and try to solve it.
Now two cases :
- CASE 1 : you are able to solve it (sahi h vroo)
STEP 6 : go to discuss section of the problem and see other's solutions sorted by most votes.
STEP 7 : implemented their solutions and compare your Time Complexity and space complexity with their and also if there any optimization or not.
- CASE 2 : you are not able to solve it
STEP 6 : try again (toh kar naaa....)
STEP 7 : not able to solve it then go to discuss section of the problem and see other's solutions sorted by most votes
STEP 8 : still not be able to understand the solution(thak gya hu vrooo...)
STEP 9 : search the question on YouTube for explanation (YouTube zinda baad)
( *Yahi nhi abhi aur suniye* )
- Tip 1 : learn theory (must) before practicing questions
- Tip 2 : solve only easy questions if you are a beginner until you able to deduce the approch easily
- Tip 3 : try to write comments in your codr to explain the approach.
- Tip 4 : don't code the solution directly. Think about the naive approach First. Then write the code and the Time Complexity and space complexity. Then further optimize it to better and best approach.
